Benny's Powersports was founded in a shop south of Lake Crystal in the spring of 2010 by Ben Havens. 

Ben worked for a very well known industrial supplier in southern Minnesota for almost 11 years when he realized there was something missing in his life. He was no longer passionate about his work. In the fall of 2009 he resigned from his 8 year position as store manager and decided to pursue a degree in Powersports Technology. Ben had a dream to combine his passion of riding ATV's, Dirt Bikes, and Snowmobiles with his many years of experience in sales and customer service. With a small amount of money he had managed to save over the years, he set out to build his own business.
